New Comps

These are some new comps I have been working on. I really like having the product line up in the ads. All that is pretty much left is to knock out what the type will say, I've started it but its just not finished, and tweak where the Haggar logo and website sit between the text. I also changed the color of the zipper teeth to match what they really look like instead of the gray I had originally (although Im still not 100% on that shade of brass/gold). I also have to reword the buttons type in regards to the polo line so it matches the other 2 and misspelling. Let me know what you think.

New Option

This is one other idea I had so that way Haggar could feature their products in the actual ad. I could apply this to each of the other 2 ads (switching out ones for pants and something else). I could also switch out "The new like of haggar shirts" for something like "Introducing the New Stay Crisp shirt line from Haggar". Let me know what you think.

Haggar Ads

These are the Haggar ads that I'm working on. The image making is done and all I need to do is work on some type that will go at the bottom. There is just some type down there so I could work on placement. The color of the zippers will change and become a little more of a gold color. I am also working on the seams poster to make the outline thicker so you can tell that it is actually sewn on there.

Universal Everything + Nike

These are some ads that Universal Everything did for Nike Basketball. I think they are pretty interesting. They go in order of how much I like them. I don't really like the last one that much at all but I posted it anyways.

1 Idea for Haggar

I started looking around at different things trying to get different ideas for the haggar project. I stumbled upon a few of these and kept looking for more things that use type as masks. I think using this idea with the background being the different products, buttons, fabrics, zippers, would make for a really eye catching ad. The type would be the main ad, probably set on either a white or khaki background with a little bit of type and the logo at the bottom explaining what the new feature is. The ones I was thinking about doing are Unbreakable Buttons, Unbustable Buttons and Unbustable Seams. I also have another idea revolving around sports, but I will talk about that today

Craig Ward = Amazing

There is this guy named Craig Ward and everything he does is unbelievable. He does amazing things with type. I just kept clicking links (which load slow) and thinking "oh my god".

OFFF Title Sequence

This is the OFF title sequence from the design conference up in NYC this past week. They had a bunch of different people from all over the world come and talk about design and what not. You can watch the opening here

PS3 + Superfad

Here is a sick video made by Superfad for the PS3. Not only does it just look amazing, but the transitions from one clip to the next are flawless. They have a higher quality version on their site.
